We CARE
For more than sixty years, the Sea Turtle Conservancy has led global efforts to protect sea turtles through science, policy, and education. Their research spans oceans. Their advocacy shapes conservation law. Their work influences how the world protects marine ecosystems, but their digital presence wasn’t telling that full story.
The opportunity was to create a platform that could translate decades of conservation leadership into a message people could understand and rally behind. We introduced a framework to express the heart of their mission. C.A.R.E.

The platform distilled complex scientific work into a clear narrative that supporters, educators, and policymakers could immediately understand. It unified the organization’s voice while creating a foundation for future storytelling.
The new website brought the platform to life.
Designed as an active conservation hub rather than a static archive, the experience invites visitors to explore initiatives, follow real-time turtle migrations through interactive tracking maps, and engage with the stories behind the research.
The design balances authority with accessibility, reflecting both the scientific rigor of the organization and the emotional connection people feel toward protecting sea turtles.
The platform later expanded into campaign storytelling.
Using footage from the release of sea turtles during the Tour de Turtle program, we created “We CARE,” a video campaign that reinforces the shared responsibility behind conservation. The campaign connects the organization’s four pillars with a simple idea.
